Yay! So, Young Money's video for "Bedrock", premiered on 106 & Park today. I caught it right at Nicki Minaj's part. That's my baby boo, blonde wig & all. I thought the video was cute. Like a big ol slumber party. Drake was looking like a hunk as always. Weezy dreads were nice & long =). Tyga needs to gain weight but he still looked cute with his tiger pants (LOL). Young Money's album, We Are Young Money, comes out December 21.

This is the supposedly the official video for Trey Songz "One Love". If it is, I'm not mad.. AT ALL! I LOVE live performances. This was from an audi event back in May, & I guess they just made a little video outta it. The way he looks at the camera tho? Really gets me tight. However, Trey is suppose to be coming out with a video for his song "Yo Side of The Bed", and the video features Keri Hilson. Can't wait for that one! In the meantime, I'm gonna try to see if I can download this version of the song.

I had saw the spread in GQ of Drake, KiD CuDi & Wale being Men of the Year and read a little bit of the article (last picture). "The gangsta persona is finally dead", declares GQ. Wale being the guy who's slick with his words, CuDi being the skinny jeans wearing stoner, and Drake being the unsigned (but now signed) million dollar heartthrob, these are the "Gangsta Killers of the Year".

The magazine honored these guys at their Men of the Year party in Hollywood. Other honorees were Kobe Bryant, Clint Eastwood & President Obama. Robin Thicke has a new video for his sexy song "Sex Therapy". This video is like his raunchiest one yet. I like it, it's like a sexy dollhouse. If I'm not mistaken, ANTM Cycle 9 winner, Saleisha Stowers, is a lil vixen in the video. Robin's album, Sex Therapy, is slated to come out December 15.

November has to be the month of Rihanna, and this week has to be it's golden week. Here she is looking fucking beautiful on the cover of Glamour, the December issue. You rarely see her smile these days, so I'm in love with this cover. Along with the hype of her new album coming out, she's also speaking out. Peep a little excerpt of her interview from the mag:

"Domestic violence is a big secret. No kid goes around and lets people know their parents fight. Teenage girls can’t tell their parents that their boyfriend beat them up. You don’t dare let your neighbor know that you fight. It’s one of the things we [women] will hide, because it’s embarrassing. So, the whole Beanie Sigel & Jay-Z "beef" has been having everyone in a frenzy. After hearing Beanie's track, everyone has been waiting for Hov's response. Well, this definitely caught me off guard tonight. DJ Kay Slay released a "diss" record from Beanie Sigel to his once friend, Jay-Z. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THEY HAD PROBLEMS! But peep game, I don't even see this as a diss record. I don't think Beanie violated Hov in any type of way. He simply is just airing shit out, shit that some of us ain't know about. And as a devoted Jay-Z fan, this record right here got me like =/ to Jay, like DAMN! I really feel a way, and I even feel sorry for Beanie. Word hit that Rihanna was coming back with a vengeance with her new album, ~~The Wait Is Ova~~ Rated R, and it's like everyone has been waiting for her. The first official single from her 4th studio album is "Russian Roulette". Most expected her to come out with a dance hit, but this song however is a dark ballad. Written by Ne-Yo and produced by Chuck Harmondy, when she said good girl gone bad, I guess she really meant it. I personally like the song very much, but I wonder if this will move people enough to go out and buy her album like "Umbrella". But Riri has cool fans, I'm sure they would buy it anyway. Her album hits stores November 23rd.

A bunch of new music indeed...

First off, I got this marvelous new track from N.E.R.D. featuring Santogold entitled "Soldier". This upbeat song didn't disappoint me like I thought it would, a very hype song I must say. Santogold's voice just flows so well on this track. This is the first time the two eclectic artists have joined forces. If you can remember some time last year they collabarated on "My Drive-Thru" as a bonus track for N.E.R.D.'s album, Seeing Sounds. This track is to be featured on the soundtrack to the TV series, 90210, which dropped today. Tell me what you guys think, because I think its rad!

Next up is the talented and handsome Robin Thicke. He is well-known for his sweet falsetto voice and smooth music. "Sex Therapy" is a different sound coming from Robin but still has his suave sound. I personally LOVE it. I love the 808's pounding in my ear. Definitely a sexy track. The track was produced by Polow Da Don and is supposed to be the first single from Thicke's upcoming 4th album set to be released by the end of the year. This is a MUST-HEAR!

An unlikely duet in my opinion but hey, that's music for ya. Plies and Keri Hilson clashed together for his song "Medicine". I really like to hear Plies voice on these sweet sound yet griddy-having beats songs. Not quite sure if this will be on his upcoming album, Goon Affiliated. However for some reason, that just doesn't sound like Keri to me. My ears never lie to me. Keri or not, I dig the song.

This one is for all my MJ fans. Although the sudden death of Michael Jackson shocked us all, in some sort of way, he made sure he would never leave us thru his music. And with his new movie, This Is It, coming out, it was only right to released never before heard tracks for the fans. "This Is It" is a sweet song, an enjoyable song that you can expect from MJ. The two-disc album, Michael Jackson's This Is It, will be released later this month around the same time his movie will be in theatre's worldwide only for two weeks. Last night, I have the talented singer/songwriter Kandi Burruss. Although recently, she's been in headlines because of the sudden death of her fiance, her track "Fly Above" was released in its full nature. I've heard snippets of the song while watching her on TV, and I thought it was a cool song. The song is the lead single for her upcoming album, B.L.O.G., set to be released next month. Relations 101: Can We Be Just Friends?

It's that time again folks and a topic that I've been thinking about a lot is can a man and a woman really just be FRIENDS? No type of attraction, no previous sexual relation of any kind, just really be friends. My thoughts on this is kinda scattered. Let's go in, shall we?

Ever since high school, I've gotten along with the opposite sex better than with females, still this way till this day. So, I had a lot of guy friends. It wasn't till last year when I was talking to someone (a guy) and they told me that a guy and a girl can never be friends without at least some kind of attraction of some sort. I disagreed right away because I had plenty male friends that were just that, friends! This specific person had not one female he could honestly call just a friend, just for this simple fact he fucked or had something with every female he knew.

It hasn't been till recently that I have been second guessing my "just friends" theory. I'm not saying ALL guys are like this, but some do play the friend role to ease their way in. So if whatever guy that their "homegirl" is seeing and he fucks up, they can be that shoulder she can lean on, or fuck. But then again, that would involve her talking about her problems and most guys don't wanna hear that.

I myself have quite a few men I call FRIENDS but they are more like brothers to me. They look out for my best interest, give me friendly lectures sometimes, everything that my real blood brother would do. Sometimes girls fling the word FRIEND around too easily, and don't know the difference when a guy wants to be a friend or wants to be "friendly". This also brings me to the movie Brown Sugar. Even tho its just a movie, does the buddy & the booty mix really work at the end of the day? A topic like this can go on forever I think but here's my conclusion.

I DO think males & females can be friends. Sometimes, you realize that you can be friends after your relations with the person. Sometimes, they can be our extended family, a sibling we never had. And sometimes, when you find that friend quality in that person, an attraction may occur. We can't help that. But I think it's possible. =)

This has got to be the most I've done RIP posts in a midst of three weeks. Kandi Burruss's (Real Housewives of Atlanta) fiance, A.J. Jewell, was killed Friday night during a fight in Atlanta. Police said he took a serious blow to the head and by the time he reached the hospital, he was already gone.

A.J. and Kandi's engagement caused quite a few problems between her & her mother (and needless to say the blogs) because he had 6 kids. Kandi is also the legal guardian of his twin daughters. I can only imagine how she is feeling. I even felt some type of way just because I was watching an episode just the night before. I know she really loved him despite what other people thought =(. Sighs, this world we live in I tell ya.

Now this movie comes out WAY sooner than the last one. I really would like to see Couple Retreat It stars Vince Vaughn and Jason Bateman. So, here's the official first single, "Transform Ya", featuring Lil Wayne and produced by Swizz Beatz, off his upcoming 3rd album, Graffiti. Before I heard it, I was kinda scared because I didn't know if it was gonna be hot, and I didn't want to be disappointed. However, Chris shut me up and had me banging my head mad hard to this. I love it. Word is they just finished shooting the video this past weekend in LA. So, yay! It's a must listen folks, open them ears.

Little Miss Pretty Mya has been MIA. Her last "album" was surely a flop. However, she's now on DWTS and doing swell, so I hear from my mother LOL. I guess the song is off a mixtape, but I kinda like "Ponytail" featuring Nicki Minaj. It's KINDA cute. However, in my opinion, if Mya still wants to be relevant in the music game, she's gotta come harder than this. What do you guys think?

The label, Young Money, looks like they're on the hustle. Gudda Gudda just released a mixtape (I think, don't take my word for it, I dont pay attention to him). I wasn't gonna pay ANY song of his any mind until I seen that Nicki Minaj was featured on one of them (sad, I know, I can't help it). I listened to it and since I'm more of a beat girl then lyrics sometimes, I liked it very much. "Always Love You" also features the samples of "I Will Always Love You" from both Whitney Houston and Dolly Parton. I guess the song is about loved ones we lost, which is a nice concept. I'm not too big on it, but I would LISTEN to it. Check it out.

Rihanna and her best friend and assistant, Melissa, were spotted in Venice having a nice BFF time. However, how they were so close in the physical sense has people wondering, is she her "girlfriend" for real?

I don't see the big deal. I hold my besties hand sometimes (then let go because that's to mushy for my life). I'm all hugged up on my bestie sometimes, when I'm drunk of course. What I'm trying to say that for girl BFF's, it's not weird to hold her hand or anything of that source. It's like PDA when a regular couple do it. You're just showing your love for ur biffle, publicly. They do look a tad close tho. Ahhh well, #kanyeshrug.

Ms. Harajuku Barbie herself, Nicki Minaj, is surely making some moves. First a Honey mag spread, now a little leakage of music, yes indeedy! No, she hasn't released any new mixtape, so whatever "new" shit you see flowing around, that's a no-go. "Gettin Paid" is just short from a minute and a half, but I think that's enough to satisfy Nicki's Barbies (LOL). I like it =). What do you guys think?

I was very scared to watch this video just for the simple fact that I knew it was going to be violent, and someone had to die out of stupidity. This video shows two rival gangs fighting in Chicago on Thursday. Derrion Albert, who was just 16 years old and an honor student, was simply trying to help another student when he got smacked with a board. That action by itself sent shivers thru my body.

It like these kids have no remorse and don't think about their actions. Yet are so loyal to a "gang". This is just sad. I really have no words for this. Who ever was involved in this should be locked up for a long time. Kid or not, they were man enough to take a life, being in jail should be nothing to them right? Very unfortunate someone had to lose their life like this, this way, period.

Amerie released her new video, "Heard Em All", off of her 4th upcoming album, In Love & War. Amerie has always been the girl next door. I guess nowadays it doesn't work anymore with the Rihanna's and Sasha Fierce's ruling the game. You can tell she's trying to bring some edge to her with this video. She should have tried harder. BUT that's just my opinion. Check it out.

Although she's annoying to most, Nicki Minaj has managed to keep her name in people's mouth. My interest in her has gone down since I first heard her in 2007 because dickriders can do that. However, with this spread in Honey Magazine, I think I'm in love again. She looks fantastic. Not quite sure when this issue hits the stands, but be sure to look out for it! =)

No, this isn't Relations 101 (unfortunately). The beautiful Mya is on this season of Dancing With The Stars. When I heard that she was going to be on it, I was kinda confused. I thought the point of the show was to get stars that has little or NO dance experience. As far as I know, Mya has been dancing her whole life. Isn't she a trained dancer? I feel like she has way more of an advantage. She did a marvelous job, but come one. I totally understand that dancing comes in different styles, and maybe she is new to this ballroom thing. But she's been dancing her whole life. LOL I can't find any reason or excuse to say why she's on this show. Anyway, good luck to her. =)

Who Is Eva Simons?

I'm not even sure who Eva Simons is, but she sure does look interesting (and familiar). Well, Eva is a Dutch singer who is best known for winning the Dutch version of Popstars where she was apart of the short-lived girlband, Raffish. She is now on her solo ish, and her song "Silly Boy" has gotten a lot of attention. Now, the name of the song definitely sounded familiar to me because a while back that song was supposedly from Rihanna featuring Lady Gaga. However, I knew it was them, totally didn't even sound like it.

So, not only did people think she sounded like Rihanna and Lady Gaga, but they think she is definitely ripping off their look or (lack of a better word) "swag". I mean I can see why they think that. The edgy look, daring personality, I get that. But you ever wondered why Riri went from a Good Girl Gone Bad? Or where she could have gotten her style from? *cough* (Fefe Dobson) *coughs*. But anyway, I don't think Eva stole anything but some people's attention. Give her some time to shine. I'm gonna keep an eye out for this lady.
